コンセプト
「ズレ」の感覚
私は、これまで、「何故、同じ物を目の前にしても、その物に対し、同一のイメージを他者と共有することは難しいのだろう」という疑問から、日常生活における「物」に対する人間の認識の仕方、又、複数の人間が同一の「物」に対して得るイメージ間の「ズレ」に注目し、対象を捉える際に起こるズレを、どのように表現し、自身の作品を作り上げていくか模索し、モチーフを日常的な対象に定め、制作してきました。
商品が生み出されるまで
あり得ない現実見る人によって感じ方に違いがあるのが彼女の作品の特長です。花柄の美しいプリントが施された手、足、頭。それがごろんと横たわっているのを見て、怖いと感じる人も美しいと感じる人もいるでしょう。美しいところでカットされた手と第２の皮膚のようなフラワープリント。まさに彼女が模索している「ズレ」が表現されています。実際に使ってもらい、多くの人のズレの感覚を知りたい。そこで作品のモチーフである陶器の手をそのまま小さくしてチャームにしました。鎖のデコレーションは彼女独自な感覚で成り立っており、個々が違った表情を持っています。普段の作品から違う方向へ、一歩昇華した作品になりました。

この機会もそうですが、今年は特に、色々な方に機会を頂き、様々な場所で作品を展示させて頂き、自身の課題も少しずつですが、明確になってきました。今年は、出来るだけ多くの場所で展示をさせて頂き自身の課題を解決しながら、色々な方に私の作品を見て頂きたいと考えています。
How to enjoy my work
自身のコンセプトも普段は重要ですが、今回は難しい話は抜きにして、私はこの６つの作品をとても楽しみながら制作することが出来ました。私の作品を手に取って下さった方にも、カバンやその方の好きなところに着けて楽しんで頂ければ嬉しいです。

Concept
Sense of Gap
Murayama wondered why it is difficult to have the same mental images when people see the same thing. The question made her pay attention becoming aware of how an object in everyday life evokes a mental image and the gap in similarities of people’s perceptions with the same object. She decided a motif as everyday object, and she has created her work while she is groping how to express and create these gaps of interpretations.
Story of product
Improbable Reality
The characteristic of Murayama’s work is that different people react differently when they see her work. The hand, foot, and head of beautiful flower print, people see those pieces, which are reclining, and people may think scary or beautiful. The hand beautifully cut and the flower print like a new skin, they represent the gap which she is seeking. She would like to know about the gap seen by many people who actually use her piece, so she created a charm which is a small size of the ceramic piece as her motif item. The chains as a decoration consist of her original sense and have individually different expressions. The ordinary work evolved into different direction, and it became more than she originally envisioned.

Her theme is getting clear, little by little, through opportunities, including this project, to display her work in various places this year. She desires to display her work as many places as possible while she is exploring her theme, where many people can see her work.
How to enjoy my work
Murayama’s concept is usually important, but she could just enjoy creating the 6 pieces without thinking logically this time. She would be happy if people can enjoy her piece to put on a bag or anywhere they like.
