2008年のミラノサローネ出品作品が、岐阜の匠により日本バージョンとして甦りました。重ねるという日本の機能美と、食の時間を上手に楽しむヨーロッパの生活スタイルの中から生まれたテーブルウェアーMasaru castle。夢と希望の象徴「お城」になる、組み合わせ自由なお皿のセットです。
商品が生み出されるまで
おとぎの国へミラノサローネで発表されたこの作品を見たとき、白いお城が料理によって彩られていくイメージが鮮明にできました。そして料理を作る自分もそれを食べる家族や友人も楽しい時間を過ごせるにちがいないと。実際テーブルにこのMasaru Castleを並べると、みんなのワクワクしている気持ちが伝わってきます。このワクワク感をもっと多くの人に体感してもらいたいという思いから、日本の職人によって再現された新しいお城です。ミラノで発表した大きなシリーズから4・5人の集まりにちょうど良いセットになりました。

Concept
Fun to stack, Joy to collect
Masaru castle which was exhibited at Milano Salone 2008 is revived as a Japanese version by a master in Gifu. It is inspired by Japanese beautility to stack and European lifestyle to enjoy the eating time.
Masaru castle is a set of the dishes which is combine freely, and becomes a “castle” a symbol of dream and hope.

Fairyland
When we saw the work launched at Milano Salone, could clearly imagine that a white castle was colored by food, and I was assured that would have a pleasant time cooking, and the family and friends also would feel the same eating. Indeed, when the Masaru castle is arranged on a table, I feel their exciting feelings. As we hope much more people to feel this exciting feeling, It is the new castle reproduced by the Japanese master, completed as a set for 4-5 person’s party compared with a big series launched in Milano.
